SPHERE guidelines presented by ECOS in a special Italian webinar

Last 12 March, ECOS presented the SPHERE guidelines regarding sport and mental health rehabilitation. More than 50 people attended the event.

In the framework of Erasmus+ Project SPHERE, ECOS organised an Italian webinar to present the guidelines for sport and mental health.

Italian members of the Scientific Committee (Santo Rullo, Francesca Cirulli and Stefania Cerino) talked about last two years’ developments, focusing on the pilot actions (Nazionale Crazy for Football and Horses&Butterflies) that led the consortium to the final guidelines, one of the intellectual outputs of the project.

The event saw the participation of two special guests too: professor Mauro Carta (University of Cagliari) and Mr. Andrea Costa, who represents the Italian Ministry of Health, who affirmed that “projects like SPHERE can represent new perspectives and opportunities for people in need, and suffering of psychiatric diseases.
