The Scientific Committee, composed of psychiatrists and academics, was responsible for:
- developing the quality criteria and procedures to ensure the project development and outputs;
- monitoring the implementation of the quality procedures during all the project lifetime;
- validating the project outcomes;
- reporting to the coordinator when corrective actions was needed in case of deviation.
