From 21st to 23rd June, the city of Florence (Italy) will host the 49th Edition of “Convegno Nazionale SIP (Società Italiana Psichiatria)”. During the event, a symposium will be organised by the European Culture and Sport Organization, focused on Project SPHERE, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. The symposium is named “Sport Healing Rehabilitation: monitoring of best practices about the use of sport in psychiatric treatments“.

The event will take place at Grand Hotel Mediterraneo, Firenze and, specifically, SPHERE Symposium will be held Saturday 22nd June at 10.00 a.m. in Sala America Nord e Sud. The ECOS Scientific Committe will participate to the session with Santo Rullo, Stefania Cerino, Francesca Cirulli and Valerio Di Tommaso.

Società Italiana Psichiatria, affiliated to the World Psychiatric Association, periodically organises these events: the 2018 edition saw the participation of 1,400 professional figures. This year edition will focus on finding guidelines on psychiatry, paths and best practices.
