Our Association is proud to announce its participation in the recently ended call for proposals in the framework of the COSME Programme, titled “Supporting the Promotion and Development of Transnational Thematic Tourism Products Linked to Cultural and Creative Industries”.
ECOS Europe played its role in developing the “GoodTime”, the projected aimed to strengthen the link between tourists and cultural sites by revolutionary technologies which are not normally used in the tourism industry. In order to spread the value of the Project, two UNESCO sites are involved: Castel del Monte in Italy and Butrint in Albania. Our partners are Diotima (leader – Italy), Polo Museale della Puglia (Italy), Butrint Parku Kombetar (Albania), Municipality of Gostivar (Macedonia), University of Ioannina (Greece), Moja Kariera – MyCareer (Macedonia), Universiteti Metropolitan Tirana (Albania).
Special attention is given to the involvement of UNESCO sites and traditional music in the area, that will be valorized by the use of IT. These technological interventions will be at zero environmental impact, but of great importance for enriching the tourism experience and at the same time stimulating curiosity about the places seen or traditional music listened from Multimedia Totems or 3D technologies.
